Shane started kiting in Nelson in 2000
and finished in the top 8 riders in the 2007 NZ Nationals. He has kited throughout NZ, in Europe and the South
has a great technical understanding of the sport and can provide good
insight into what equipment will suit you and help you progress onto the
next level. Whatever style of riding you’re into, Shane will have some
advice on how to get the best out of your gear.
Sue got into kiting in the UK in 2002. She was one of the first IKO qualified instructors in New Zealand and has taught kitesurfing in the UK and here, so knows all about the learning curve as you progress from just getting riding to boosting your first jumps and heading into the waves. She
is a regular contributor to Wind&Kite magazine, offering advice
ranging from gear set-up and selection to learning new moves, all aimed at
the size, shape and strength of women.
